Thanks for coming back. Today I’m sharing a one layer card with you. Quick and easy to do.
You only need just a few supplies for this card, it did take some time as I had to cut out many masks for the houses, however these images are quite simple and easy to cut.
I stamped these buildings (MFT London Mouse) onto some post-it notes and cut several layers at once to save time as I knew I would need quite a few masks.
Maybe more than a few…
The best part was to lift up all the masks to reveal what’s behind…
If I didn’t mess up with one of the masks, I would have left the card as is. However, I forgot to put one mask down (the top left house and the middle left house) before I stamped the other image, there was a bit overlapping and it bothered me quite a bit (Usually this doesn’t bother me, however this was the second trial, as I made the same mistake when I made the first one! Unbelievable!). So I had to cover it up by colouring in all the roofs with black prismacolor pencil.
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Stamps, one of their early stamp sets, retired now (sorry), but there are similar ones on the market.
So there you are, hope you like it.
Have a great weekend everyone!
